It’s raining Arya films in Kollywood. The actor, who waited more than two years with all patience and perseverance for ‘Naan Kadavul’, is having back to back releases now, all backed by promising cast and crew.
Even as ‘Madraspattinam’, which hit screens last month, is still pulling crowds to theatres, promos of his next venture ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ in the media are catching the attention of the masses.
“Trailers of Boss Engira Baskaran aired at regular intervals on Kalaignar group of television channels have kindled expectations of the film buffs. All credits go to director Rajesh and Udhayanidhi Stalin, who has acquired the movie’s rights,” says a trade pundit.
In the meantime, ‘Chikku Bukku’, which too has Arya in the lead role, is also getting ready for release. Directed by Manikandan, the film produced by Media One Global Entertainment, has Shriya as heroine. “While Boss Engira Baskaran will hit screens in September itself, Chikku Bukku is slated for October release,” sources say.
