We had recently published the news that our Superstar Rajinikanth had met former Tamil Nadu Chief minister Ms.Jayalalitha at her residence to invite her for the engagement function of his second daughter Ms.Soundariya Rajinikanth. Now it has so happened that Mrs.Latha Rajinikanth and her daughter Soundariya had gone to the Chief ministers residence to invite him to the same function. It is not know why Mr.Rajinikanth could not make it to meet Mr.Karunanidhi but could make time to meet Ms.Jayalalitha. Though Rajinikanth is usually considered very close to Mr.Karunanidhi, recent incidents like this have pointed to a tiff between the two. It should also be noted that in a recent function held to thank the chief minister for allocating land to film technicians, actor Ajith had mentioned about politicians forcing actors to participate in social events. Some people considered Ajith to be brave for speaking out, others felt that this was not the dais to convey the message. What was not understood though was why Rajinikanth who is usually very calm in his expressions gave a standing ovation before the whole crowd including the chief minister. Could this be a indication of a brewing tiff. It has been popularly rumored that the chief minister has been insisting Rajini to support DMK for the assembly election when Stalin is portrayed as the next CM. This Mr.Karunanidhi feels will help Stalin win more votes which is otherwise very doubtful. But as always our thalaivar has not replied and just smiled when senior DMK party members directly met him.Let us wait and see if there are any further updates
