The unit of "KO" has flown down to China to begin the shooting of the movie. We are not very sure if the movie script has enough twist and turns to satisfy the audience, but in real life, there were many twists and turns before the movie could go on floors. K.V Anand who tasted success in Ayan wanted to rope in Tamanna again for his movie. Tamanna who was also very grateful to K.V Anand immediately accepted to star in the movie. But when it was decided that Simbu would be the hero of the movie, Tammana expressed her unwillingness to co star with Simbu and gracefully walked out of the project with KV Anand's consent. The actual truth in kollywood is that many heroines are very apprehensive of acting with Simbu. K.V Anand had a hard time finding someone who will star with Simbu. Finally he zeroed in on Karthika, daughter of actress Radha. Everything went smoothly and the rest of the unit was decided upon. A few days before the start of the movie shooting, a photo shoot was organized. Once the photoshoot was over, Simbu approached K.V Anand and asked him to replace Karthika. His reason was that she was a bit tall for him and he dint like that. He also informed K.V Anand about his desire to have some fresh Mumbai model to star with him. Frustrated with this kind of demands, KV Anand informed Simbu that he will no longer be the hero of the movie. K.V Anand also planned to inform the press that Simbu would be replaced without stating any reason. Simbu who by now knew that his image would be dented if the actual news comes out, created a rumor that he opted out of the movie because of going to be a part of Mani Rathnam's next movie. It should be noted that Mani has made no official comments in this regard so far. In fact the truth is that Mr.Mani Rathnam has not even started thinking about his next movie. He is busy with the post production and marketing of his bilingual 'Raavan'. Simbu sure know how to manipulate the press.
