Theatres screening 'Irumbu Kottai Murattu Singam' could be a better choice to spend a day this summer. A cowboy movie for the whole family, the film is produced by Kalpathi S Agoram and directed by Simbu Devan of 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi' fame.
"The comic flick would treat the audience with loads of fun and action and hence we are releasing it this summer vacation", says an optimistic Simbu Devan.
"I am a great fan of cowboy movies. It is a genre that Tamil filmmakers have left untouched. That is the reason I took up the challenge of making one. I penned a script for a cowboy story which has an unmistakable Indianness to it," he claims.
Thanking Kalpathi S Agoram for producing the movie, Simbu Devan says, "He heard the story for just 15 minutes and agreed to produce it. All the lead actors- Larencce Raghavendra, Lakshmi Rai, Padmapriya, and Sandhya- have given their best."
"There is more to cowboys than their hats, shoes, guns and horses. They are known for their style. Hopefully the film will bring out this aspect well," the filmmaker concludes.
